Welcome to our website. On behalf of the Phi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated officers and members I bring you greetings. It is my sincere honor to serve as the 12th chapter president, and under the leadership of our dynamic Great Lakes Regional Director, Ms. Gwendolyn Kirtley. Chartered January 5, 2002, Phi Psi Omega has served the local communities of Forest Park, Woodlawn, and Lincoln Heights, Ohio. We have grown from 34 charter members to over 265 phenomenal, professional and outstanding women. We are delighted to implement the 2022-2026 International Program theme, "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood" under the leadership of our 31st International President and CEO, Ms. Dannette Anthony Reed. Ms. Anthony Reed prides herself in engaging members of the sorority at all levels by being Authentic, Knowledgeable, and Accessible. This administration has six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood will serve as the administration's "Foundation Initiative" as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission. The remaining five initiatives will serve as the "Program Initiatives" which include:
These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service. Our chapter Vice President and Program Chairman, Ms. Alisha Mitchell leads our programs of service and is dedicated to fulfill our legacy of Service to All Mankind. We have a very comprehensive mentoring program. Our chapter motto, "Sisterhood is our Strength...Service is our Signature," you will find our chapter sorors very sisterly, ready to greet you with open arms and Welcome you Home! Our signature fundraiser, the 22nd Annual Jazz Brunch & Silent Auction will be held in June 2023. Our pinnacle affair is held in conjunction with The Twenty Cultured Pearls Foundation, www.twentyculturedpearlsfoundation.org. We will be delighted for you to join us.
